How we handle your data.
This notice is a draft. The full text, reviewed under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), will replace it before the rider account opens to the public.
What we collect
When you apply to ride, we collect your name, phone number, Ghana Card number, driving licence number, the area you work in, how you ride today, and photographs of your Ghana Card and driving licence.
Why we collect it
To check that you are who you say you are, to assess your application with our financing partner, and to contact you about it by phone or SMS.
Who sees it
BEEP Motors staff who process applications, and our financing partner where an application proceeds. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
For as long as your application is open and, if you take a motorcycle, for the life of that agreement and the period the law requires after it. Declined applications are deleted after a set period.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Contact us through the rider financing line.
