Ride-to-own is the published route: the bike comes with no down payment and is paid for weekly out of what it earns. A cash purchase is priced on enquiry.

If you have the money, ask the team — buying outright can be the cheaper of the two.

GH₵ 29,950 for the Tankvolt electric motorcycle on ride-to-own — about GH₵ 575 a week for 52 weeks, about GH₵ 95 a day on a six-day week — and it is yours after the final payment.

That price includes your insurance. It does not include energy: battery swaps are paid as you go and are never bundled into the purchase.

The price and the weekly payment are indicative and are confirmed in the hire-purchase contract you sign.

The published route is ride-to-own over 12 months with nothing down. A large deposit with a short balance is not a standard plan today.

It is not a no. Tell the team what deposit you have and over how long you would clear the rest, and they will tell you whether it can be structured — the answer depends on the lender, not on us alone.

The plan is weekly. about GH₵ 575 leaves your mobile money wallet (MTN MoMo or Telecel Cash) every Monday for 52 weeks — 12 months — and then the bike is yours. That is about GH₵ 95 a day on a six-day week; there is no daily instalment and no monthly one.

Energy is separate and paid as you swap: GH₵ 15 a pack, about 2 swaps on a working day, so roughly GH₵ 30 a day or GH₵ 210 a week for 100–120 km of range.

Put together, a full working week is about GH₵ 785.00 for the bike and its power.

The shape of it: about GH₵ 575 a week for 52 weeks, collected by MTN MoMo or Telecel Cash every Monday. GH₵ 0 down. Insurance — third-party liability, theft, collision and battery damage — is bundled into the weekly payment. The loan is written by Advans Savings and Loans, not by BEEP; we supply and service the vehicle, they carry the credit.

To qualify you need to be a National Okada Riders Union member with riding experience, hold a valid driver's licence, a Ghana Card and a mobile money account, and pass the Union's vetting of payment reliability. The first 350 qualifying members get guaranteed slots.

Legal title stays with Trans-Sahara Industries Ltd. until the final payment, and the bikes carry GPS tracking with remote immobilisation after a 7-day default grace period. The battery is never part of what you are buying: BEEP owns every pack, maintains it and replaces it when it fades.

The binding terms are the ones in the hire-purchase contract you sign. Read that document before you sign it — ask for it in advance if you want time with it.

Your credit agreement is with Advans Savings and Loans, and the arrears process — what counts as late, what it costs, and what happens to the vehicle — is set out in that agreement rather than decided by BEEP.

The practical advice is the same either way: talk to us before you miss a week, not after. A bad week you have told someone about is a different conversation from silence and a failed collection.

Yes. Your bike is covered from day one, and there is no separate insurance bill: third-party liability, theft, collision and battery damage are all bundled into the weekly payment. The cover's terms are set out in your contract.

Yes. Swapping is how the bikes are powered — you trade a depleted pack for a charged one in about ninety seconds rather than waiting on a charger.

Stations are going in across Accra first, on the delivery and ride-hailing corridors riders already work, and expanding outward from there. Coverage changes as sites open, so check the live map rather than a printed list.

Yes. Servicing and repairs run through the BEEP workshop network built with the Ghana TVET Service, which also trains the technicians who staff it. Parts come through Trans-Sahara Industries, which assembles the vehicles in Ghana.

Battery packs are the exception, and in your favour: the pack is BEEP's property. If one fails you swap it and keep working — you are never quoted for a battery.
